| 2025-07-17 | Oven | Yesterday and today the Miwe oven program timer for deck 2 turned off before the bake time for that particular baking program was finished. What has been happening of late is that the chime will start signifying the end of the bake and the program will end on its own (without anyone engaging the touchscreen) and not after a prolonged number of chimes. Today this was the case so after discovering this I looked in on the bread and it needed more time so I programmed the oven for a 5min 420f reload, started it and made sure it was counting down, this I’m absolutely sure of. The oven chime did not go off after this point, and the program was off until John C discovered it much later. There might be a touchscreen sensitivity issue or if several deck alarm s go off simultaneously if the stop area is pressed on the touchscreen it will turn both decks off, but nothing aside from deck two would have been ready to pull or even close. | 2025-02-28 | Oven | Over the past few weeks the temperature of the MIWE oven has been running very high. This has been happening throughout the day often times resulting in darker bread, and bread that is ready to be pulled well before the specific program time has elapsed.Ive noticed this from the rye bake onward that the listed oven temp is much higher than the temp posted on the temp gage. This is not the result of the oven having decks that are set to the farm setting which is 440f for example, and recently I've done some temp gun testing to confirm that the oven is running hotter than the temp gage would suggest. I do understand that by loading bread in deck #4( that I think has the oven temp sensor) the oven temp will list significantly lower once loaded but that's not what I'm referring to. Ive also noticed that the back row (back of the oven) is noticeably darker, similar to the issue we were having before the loading depth was adjusted by the MIWE tech a while ago. Im not sure if the oven has temperature sensors that may be faulty or why the oven has been running hot but it seems to be getting worse. | Thank you Paul. Yesterday the oven operated very well.
