Hi, there is a fruit fly issue over there under the sink area, can you do some serious caulking is my first recommendation or something like it, or a baseboard there, that gap is to big from where floor meets wall. something other then baseboard might be better please.
Notes: 
Previously added caulk in gap. Applied new baseboard.
