Describe the problem:
our problem child mixer had another incident today. I was mixing fondant on it this afternoon and after it was mixing on speed one for a few minutes, it made a grinding noise. I shut it off immediately.

found a work around for now. switch to gear 2, then turn off and switch to gear 1 again.
